Option 1: Full 3-Day Stage Race

Experience the soul of mountain biking in the heart of the Eastern Free State with the IMLA 3-Day MTB Stage Race. Hosted on the breathtaking Imla Guest Farm near Clocolan, this event is a celebration of rugged trails, red mountains, and rustic hospitality.

Friday – Sunday

Includes: All 3 stages, timing, meals (Sat & Sun lunch), waterpoints, Finisher medal, Friday night Spit Braai.

Day 1 – Friday Night Ride (10-15km)

Kick off the weekend under the stars with a thrilling night ride! Glowsticks, headlights, and good vibes will guide you through a fun, fast-paced prologue on jeep tracks and farm roads. Perfect for loosening the legs and firing up the weekend buzz.

Day 2 – Saturday Stage (30-80km)

Wake up to Free State magic. The main stage features a mix of hand-cut singletrack, flowing farm trails, sandstone ridges, and panoramic mountain views. Expect a few tough climbs, rewarding descents, and waterpoints that feel like pitstops at a country fair.

Day 3 – Sunday Stage (20-50km)

A shorter, punchier ride to close the weekend with a smile. Single tracks & Jeep tracks, through Sandstone Hills, and finish at Imla Guest Farm with a cold drink in hand. Legs will burn, but hearts will be full.
